Raising the Standards of Grooming

Ann's Quality Grooming & Boarding is owned by Ann Everts, a Rockville resident of mixed German and Italian heritage. She's been grooming dogs and cats for nearly 20 years and is known for raising the standards of grooming in the DC Metro area, and giving her clients and their pets the "personal touch."

Over the years, she has provided grooming and boarding services to families for up to three generations of pets.

Ann is a Maryland State Certified groomer. She grooms all kinds of cats and dogs—from household pets to top show animals. Her philosophy is that quality work and service are of the utmost importance. One of a few dog groomers that also specialize in cats, Ann prides herself on knowing how to handle cats during the grooming process.

Ann is very involved in your pet's life and believes that part of her job is to educate and answer questions about your pets' habits, their needs, and their preventive care. She will get to know your pet almost as well as you do.

A daughter of a foreign service officer and a mother from Australia who is a landscape architect, Ann has lived and traveled the world. She's been to Iran, Pakistan, Germany, Australia, Kenya, Russia, Greece, England, Belgium, Italy, Afghanistan, Japan, New Zealand, Israel, and many more.

Ann has always loved animals and has had a large number of pets in her home ranging from Bassetts to mutts to beautiful cats. She presently has a mini-Australian shepherd named Athena (see photo at right). Ann says that Athena is the smartest dog in the entire world. Athena's best friends are her housemates, a rescue cat named Zeus, and a 28-pound main coon cat named Rolls Royce.
